Virginia and Pedro, an Italian-Dominican couple, welcome Balata. Since we opened our doors in 2011 we have had only one objective in mind: to offer our guests a special option for their accommodation, in Las Terrenas, at the best prices.

We offer our guests very simple rooms and apartments, built and decorated with poor recycled materials, but really very comfortable, cozy, characteristic and very special.

Our goal is to create a UNIQUE place, so that it is engraved in your memories, the pleasant, the cozy and the comfortable, which are our rooms, very different from all-inclusive hotels.

We try to give the best treatment to our clients, offering

The best homemade breakfast in Las Terrenas, very delicious and characteristic, prepared every morning with so much love by Chef Pedro.

On the other hand, I, Virginia, will try to improve myself by giving you the best assistance through personalized reservations, help in organizations of excursions, transfers and events organizations. We are always present for our clients.
